nora® Rubber Flooring's noraplan® Earns GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification
LAWRENCE, MA - nora® rubber flooring recently became the first rubber flooring manufacturer to
receive the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute's Indoor Air Quality Certification.
The company's noraplan® product line achieved GREENGUARD certification following rigorous testing
according to stringent GREENGUARD standards for low-emitting products.
GREENGUARD certification ensures that the noraplan® product offering, including noraplan® uni, stone,
logic, astro, mega, plus, effect, classic and eco, has minimal impact on the indoor environment.
Like all GREENGUARD Certified Products, noraplan® products are subject to regular testing to verify
ongoing compliance with GREENGUARD Standards.
"We are honored to earn this very important certification and thrilled to achieve a leadership
position among rubber flooring manufacturers in the certification process," said Philipp Leferenz,
president of Freudenberg Building Systems, Inc., manufacturer of nora® rubber flooring. "GREENGUARD
certification underscores nora's commitment to protecting the environment and demonstrates the ability
of nora® products to meet and exceed some of the most stringent IAQ requirements. We take great pride
in our products and the many ways they contribute to improved public health and quality of life," Leferenz said.
The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute is an industry-independent, non-profit organization that
oversees the GREENGUARD Certification Program and provides the world's only guide to third party
low-emitting building materials and interior finishes. Architects, designers, specifiers and consumers
can trust GREENGUARD certified products to help them create interior spaces with good indoor air quality.
noraplan® rubber flooring products and all GREENGUARD certified products are easy to find in the GREENGUARD
online product guide.
