nora® Rubber Flooring Launches Colorful New Product Lines With Introduction of Unique norament® 925 strada
LAWRENCE, MA - Freudenberg Building Systems, Inc., manufacturer of nora®
Rubber Flooring, has introduced norament® 925 strada, the first in a series of
new commercial rubber floor coverings the company will unveil to U.S. audiences
in June at NeoCon World's Trade Fair 2004. Launched at the company's international
headquarters in Weinheim, Germany, in March, norament® strada is the culmination of
a comprehensive product development program that has produced four significant new
product lines, each combinable with other nora® lines. Plus, existing product lines
have been enhanced with the addition of more than 75 new colors.
The design of norament® strada is inspired by cubist art and offers a unique combination
of appearance and performance in resilient flooring. The floor covering's unusual cubic
surface and tone-in-tone granule design create a distinctive look and ensure slip resistance
in compliance with ADA guidelines. Designers can select from among 16 standard colors and
combine their selections with other norament® products to create a coordinated design throughout
a facility. In sum, norament® strada is the ideal solution for extra heavy traffic areas requiring
a striking visual appearance and long-lasting wear.
"As we evaluated our entire product offering, we enlisted the services of Pentagram, an international
design firm, to guide us in developing our new color range," said Philipp Leferenz, president of
Freudenberg Building Systems, Inc. "We believe the new range and new lines will meet and exceed the
needs of designers, building owners and users."
"We created innovative product lines, including norament® 925 strada, and expanded our range of colors
for a more complete product offering that supports nora's position of inspired design
and exceptional performance," Leferenz said. "Now," he continued, "designers can move from one nora®
line to another as they create their designs, mixing and matching a variety of new and exciting products
and accessories that keep pace with today's architectural trends while meeting all the functional
requirements of commercial facilities."
norament® 925 strada is an environmentally compatible floor covering. Like all nora® products, it is PVC-free.
It combines rubber's naturally dense, non-porous surface with the exclusive "nora® cleanguard®" manufacturing
process. As a result, the floor covering does not require waxing or sealing, which contributes to healthier
indoor air and easy, inexpensive cleaning with lower maintenance costs.
norament® 925 strada meets a wide variety of additional requirements within commercial facilities, including hygiene,
sound absorption, outstanding fire protection, resistance to chemicals, comfort underfoot and extraordinary wear
resistance. The 14-inch, 3.5 mm tiles are manufactured in a vulcanization process in high pressure presses to
ensure quality.
Freudenberg Building Systems, Inc. has been located in the United States for more than 30 years. It is the U.S.
headquarters of the German-based Freudenberg Building Systems/KG, the world's largest manufacturer of commercial
rubber floor covering systems. The company has been designing and manufacturing nora® Rubber Flooring for more than 50 years,
meeting a wide range of functional performance requirements while paying close attention to the aesthetic aspects of interior design.
