member of the multi-national Freudenberg Group, with U.S. headquarters in
Lawrence, Mass., recognized the advantages rubber offered the flooring industry
and began manufacturing nora® Rubber Flooring. Today nora® Rubber
Flooring is the market leader in commercial rubber flooring, with a market
share of more than 80 percent in Germany and more than 50 percent worldwide.
The nora® Rubber Flooring system includes noraplan® and norament®
matching floor coverings, in both tile and sheet rubber flooring, stairtreads
and accessories. Together, these lines provide solutions for the toughest floor
covering problems in an environmentally sensitive way, enabling architects and
interior designers to achieve inspired design and exceptional performance.
nora® Rubber Flooring systems are available in a broad range of exciting
colors and patterns compatible with today's architectural trends to help create
bold and innovative flooring designs that blend naturally into all interior
design concepts. Matching coverings and accessories, from classical to modern
styles, allow for harmony of design and functionality throughout a facility,
regardless of differing traffic categories or specialized requirements. New
colors and patterns are under development, along with new design tools that
will further support designers' efforts to select the best nora® flooring
for virtually any design concept. All nora® products are extremely
wear-resistant for longer life, dirt-repellent for easy care and lower
maintenance costs, flame retardant and impact-resistant for safety and
increased longevity, and permanently resilient for comfort underfoot. They also
offer high footfall sound absorption, resistance to oils, grease and chemicals,
and electrostatic dissipation protection. In keeping with our corporate
philosophy to protect the environment and our natural resources, nora®
products contain high quality renewable/natural rubber, recycled rubber,
abundant natural fillers and environmentally compatible color pigments and are
free of PVC, plasticizers, and halogens.
