Are nora® floor coverings slip resistant?

nora® rubber floor coverings are slip resistant according to ADA guidelines.

Do noraŽ floorcoverings emit dangerous substances when in use?

Due to the composition of noraŽ floorcoverings, they do not emit substances in toxic concentrations. noraŽ floorcoverings made of rubber do not contain any PVC, plasticizers (phthalate) and halogens (e.g. chlorine). The Austrian Plastics Institute has tested and confirmed the suitability of noraŽ floorcoverings

How do nora® floor coverings behave in the event of fire?

nora® rubber floor coverings, thanks to their outstanding fire-resistant properties, comply with the most important fire standards.

They meet the requirements of ASTM E-662 Specific Optical Density of Smoke Generated by Solid Materials and ASTM E-648 Critical Radiant Flux of Floor Covering Systems Using a Radiant Heat Energy Source.

Special floor coverings are available that meet ASTM E-84 Class A requirements for Surface Burning Characteristics of Building Materials.

Many nora rubber floor coverings meet the FRA (Federal Railway Administration) requirements regarding flammability, smoke and toxicity.

nora® floor coverings do not contain any PVC, plasticizers (phthalate) or halogens (e.g. chlorine). Floor coverings that do not contain any PVC also guarantee that no hydrochloric acid, dioxins and furans are generated.
