How important are ecological factors in production?
nora® rubber floor coverings are manufactured in state of the art
production plants. As the leading innovator in the manufacture of rubber floor
coverings, nora systems places great emphasis on
environmentally compatible and conservational manufacturing methods. The
production process uses only the absolute necessary amount of energy, obtained
with high efficiency through the combined heat and power principle. The cooling
water required for the production process is re-circulated, thus reducing to a
minimum the volume of fresh water consumed. Production scraps are recycled into
usable materials within the plant and returned to the production process.
Proper selection of the raw materials and precise processing in the manufacture
of nora® floor coverings ensure that no harmful emissions are given off to
employees or the environment in spite of processing temperatures exceeding
170°C/338°F. The production process is subject to regular emissions
checks using special analytical procedures.
State of the art process engineering guarantees the recognized top quality of
nora® rubber floor coverings.
